About

Abby is a fully registered Clinical Psychologist, who obtained a Master of Clinical Psychology from Griffith University. She has developed her clinical skills working with individuals of all ages across a broad range of settings including private practice, community mental health, outpatient hospital settings and acute inpatient facilities. She has trained in a variety of treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). Abby utilises an open, warm and feedback-driven approach with her clients to foster a safe, non-judgemental and supportive therapeutic space. She works collaboratively with her clients to gain a shared understanding of how problems have developed, so that therapy can be individually tailored to key areas of change. Abby has previous experience working with children on the autism spectrum and ADHD, and has a special interest in working collaboratively with families to maximise individual client outcomes.
